Youth focused all of society engagement in Sustainable Development Goals implementation is the key towards building a just, peaceful and climate safe world. ‘SDG17 – Partnerships’ provides within the Agenda 2030 the basis for institutionalizing fruitful and effective collaboration of state and non-state actors (multi-stakeholder partnerships target: 17.16 “Enhance the global partnership for sustainable development, complemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledgeexpertisetechnology and financial resources, to support the achievement of the sustainable development goals in all countries, in particular developing countries”). At the side event IAAI GloCha, UN Habitat youth program, AFS and IYC and partners will present their youth engagement programs and discuss the potentials for forming a new multistakeholder partnership on “Digital innovation for Youth SDG Action Empowerment”. Presentations will include i.a. the SDGs scorecard app of UN Habitat, IAAI GloCha’s DigitalArt4Climate NFT solutions and GloCha Global Challenges Action registry, ideas for a UN system wide youth engagement app et al. International Youth Conference (IYC) will present its proposal for a “World Climate Action day” and announce the IYC6 conference and AFS will present its huge active global citizenship youth capacity building programs and announce the Youth Assembly 2022. The side event will also serve as a preparation for a 2 days “Digital innovation for Youth SDG Action” conference at UN HQ NY 8th and 9th of September 2022 and for a series of IAAI GloCha led workshops, press conferences and side events at the forthcoming UN Climate Conference COP27 in November 2022 in Sharm el Sheikh/Egypt.
